THE 2nd TRANSNATIONAL PROJECT MEETING OF ‘THE PROJECT FOR IMPROVEMENT OF THE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLE DRIVERS’ WAS HELD IN GERMANY/BERLIN ON 4-5 NOVEMBER 2021

After a long break, we held the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting of the “Project for Increasing the Professional Competencies of Commercial Vehicle Drivers”, which we carried out within the scope of the EU’s Erasmus+ Program. Our German partner IBF hosted the meeting organized in Berlin/Germany on 4-5 November 2021. Due to the pandemic conditions, face-to-face meetings had to be postponed, and the monitoring and evaluation of the project was carried out through online meetings.

The representatives of the project partners and the participant responsible for carrying out the project participated in the meeting. Before noon on the first day of the meeting, the test centre of TUV in Berlin was visited. The practical examination process for those who have a DE class driver’s license was followed by the delegation.

The IBF representative opened the meeting and briefly re-introduced its establishment. In the first and second days of the meeting, the developments regarding the intellectual outputs of the project were explained by the relevant partners within the framework of the agenda. The first three outputs of the project (Preparation of Current Situation Analysis Report, Preparation of Competence Map, Preparation of E-materials) have been completed and the process of testing the e-materials and the competency map prepared with the final output, which is the pilot training, are still going on.

At the meeting, the Project Coordinator also summarized the work done on the management, quality monitoring and dissemination of the project, and decisions were made regarding the studies to be done until the end of the project.

The meeting was productive and the meeting of partner organizations after a long time created a synergy for the project.
