Four important ideas came out in our Vocofdrivers Project (Driver’s Profile and Training Analysis Report, Preparation of Competency Map, Development of E-materials, Conducting Pilot Trainings). The first two of these outputs have been completed.
Due to the pandemic crisis that spread all over the world, it was not possible to hold the face to face contacts and meetings envisaged in the project. Some of our partners had to fight against this virus. Many studies were conducted online. Despite these adverse conditions, our project continues to progress.
Within the scope of the first intellectual output of the project; An analysis report has been prepared regarding the profile of the drivers engaged in road passenger transport in partner countries, their training-examination-certification and working conditions. The second intellectual output of our project was the determination of the common competencies of the drivers engaged in passenger transport on the road, and the tabulation of these qualifications under the headings of field-module-unit-learning outcome-knowledge-skill-competence. Currently, partners continue to develop sample digital materials based on the competency map. The online education and training materials, which gain importance with the pandemic environment, are an indication of how well our project serves a purpose.
